Initiate and develop a collaborative effort of eleven Protestant Christian churches in our 46808 ZIP-code as well as Campus Ministries of the University of Saint Francis for community development and congregational cooperation.

Events included Vacation Bible School, a Good Friday Noon Service, several Habitat for Humanity builds and a Labor Day Sunday Service with six of the churches: Presbyterian, United Methodist, Wesleyan, United Brethren, Mennonite, and New Zion Tabernacle an African-American congregation.

We also did a five week Lenten series on Sunday evenings for five years which included a potluck dinner and then an educational portion; this included a Lutheran church, a Church of Christ, a Nazarene Church, in addition to the Good Friday congregations. We learned about the different denominations; we met with a local judge to learn how to be more engaged in social issues of our community, we did a series on the life of Jesus, and other topics.

Participation with this organization also helps build collaborative ecumenical efforts and friendships

I continued this partnership when I began work with the YMCA, and from 2017-2020 they partnered with a local hospital for a Clergy Luncheon three times a year in which I participated, that brought together leaders from every faith tradition in the area.
